Our client manufactures high-quality precast concrete pipes and are looking for a Mig Welder/Overhead Crane Operator to join their team.

n

If you have experience with MIG welding, can read workshop drawings, and enjoy hands on work in a manufacturing setting, we’d like to hear from you.

Mig Welder/Overhead Crane Operator The Role n

In this role your primary responsibility will be the MIG welding of steel reinforcement used in the manufacture of precast concrete products.

Your duties will also include: n

n
Reading and interpreting technical drawings
n
Operating overhead cranes & forklift to move equipment around
n
Following workplace safety procedures and maintaining a clean, organised work area
n

What We're Looking For nn
MIG welding experience
n
Precast manufacturing experience
n
The ability to read and interpret drawings
n
Experience or confidence operating overhead cranes
n
A reliable,



practical, and safety-focused approach to work
n
The ability to work effectively as part of a team
n
LF Forklift licence highly regarded, but not essential.
n

Work Hours n

You will generally float between 4am & 5am starts.

n

n
Monday – Thursday: 5am start and working a 10-hour shift
n
Friday: 4am start and working an 8-hour shift where possible.
n

Please note n
if you are successful at interview stage you will be required to undertake a pre employment medical, including D & A screen, physical, spirometry and audio testing. + complete an online induction prior to starting.
