Reporting to the General Counsel & EGM Corporate Affairs, this is a rare prospect to take on a broad and commercially focused legal role where you'll work closely with senior leaders across the business, providing trusted advice on legal, governance, compliance and risk matters.

About the role n

As Legal Counsel, you will:

Provide pragmatic and commercially focused legal advice across the business
n
Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements
n
Support governance, compliance and risk management initiatives
n
Manage legal risks and assist with dispute resolution matters
n
Monitor legislative and regulatory changes and provide guidance to stakeholders
n
Partner with leaders across operations, commercial, finance and corporate functions
n
Manage relationships with external legal advisers when required
n

About You n

To be successful, you will have:

n

A Bachelor of Laws and current Australian practising certificate
n
Proven experience in-house and/or private practice
n
Robust contract drafting, negotiation and advisory skills
n
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
n
A commercial mindset with the ability to deliver practical solutions
n
Experience working within a regulated industry will be highly regarded
n
