This is a full time permanent position involving the installation, maintenance, and commissioning of overhead cranes and lifting equipment across a variety of industrial sites.The successful candidate will work as part of a skilled installation team delivering projects throughout Victoria and interstate when required.DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:Installation of overhead travelling cranes, gantry cranes, jib cranes, hoists, winches and associated equipmentMechanical assembly and fitting of crane componentsAlignment and installation of crane runway systemsCrane removals, upgrades and modificationsReading and interpreting engineering drawingsConducting maintenance,
repairs and fault finding on lifting equipmentWorking safely at heights and in industrial environmentsEnsuring all work complies with company and site safety requirementsABOUT YOUTrade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter, Fitter & Turner, Maintenance Fitter or similarExperience in heavy industrial installation, maintenance or construction environmentsStrong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skillsAbility to read and interpret technical drawingsWhite CardForklift Licence (desirable)Dogging, Rigging or Crane experience (advantageous)Ability to travel interstate when requiredAbility to work safely at heightsOwn basic hand toolsStrong communication and teamwork skillsGood time management and organisational skillsCommitment to workplace safety and quality workmanshipSelf-motivated with a positive attitudeWHAT WE OFFERCompetitive remunerationCompany vehicle provided for work-related travelOvertime opportunitiesCareer development within a leading Australian crane manufacturer and service providerSupportive team environmentADDITIONAL INFORMATIONTravel is required (local, regional and interstate)Approximately 10% to 30% travel outside the metropolitan areaStandard 38-hour work week with overtime opportunitiesStandard hours are 7:00am to 3:06pm, with occasional weekend work as required
