And the requests are varied!
You can expect requests from planned maintenance works like painting, patching and flooring repairs, general pruning and planned mowing, through to assisting residents with sensors, water pressure, TV remotes or bathroom and handrail installations no day is the same in Aged Care.
As the Maintenance Officer you will be part of a supportive, dedicated team at St Vincent's Care Services Edgecliff.St Vincent's Care Services Edgecliffis just 4km east of Sydney's city centre.
Our small but homey 39 bed facility is located in a tranquil, leafy suburb within walking distance of public transport.This is a full-time permanent opportunity.Things that work for usHave relevant trade qualifications (desirable) in carpentry, painter, electrician or plumbingRelatable experience (essential) in Aged Care, Health or Community (highly desirable)Ability to perform maintenance worksHold a valid Driver's Licence (essential)Experience working in a varied work environmentCustomer service mindset we are a person-centred organisationPlanning and time management skillsParticipate in an on call rosterNationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (within last 6 months).
