The department is looking for a highly organised and proactive APS5 Administrative Support Officer to provide administrative support to a busy consular and data team for a 6-month period, commencing mid-September. This is an exciting temporary prospect for someone looking to gain experience in client services, data management, and crisis operations.

Responsibilities n
n
Respond to and triage the team’s inbox, ensuring timely action
n
Generate weekly consular system reports and maintain accurate data
n
Ensure records management and documentation are up to date
n
Update and maintain guidelines and standard operating procedures
n
Assist in managing user access across global systems
n
Build and maintain strong relationships across teams and stakeholders
n
Support client service delivery and administrative tasks in a rapid-paced environment
n
Experience & Skills Required nn
Proven experience in administration, records management, or data support
n
Strong client service focus with excellent problem-solving skills
n
Ability to manage competing priorities and a consistently busy workload
n
Experience with MS Office, particularly Excel and data management
n
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
n
Comfortable working in agile environments with changing priorities
n
Previous exposure to high-pressure or sensitive situations is advantageous
n

Must have an NV1 Clearance
