Transcend Workforce is seeking experienced Machine Operators to join a leading steel manufacturing and reinforcement workshop based in Sunshine North. You'll be operating cutting and bending machines in a quick-paced setting.
Must be available to train on day shift 3 - 4 weeks. n
Sunday 11:00 pm–7:00 am
n Monday to Thursday, 10:00 pm–6:00 am
Training: n
3–4 weeks on day shift, Monday to Friday, 6:00 am–2:00 pm.

Operate heavy-duty, high-precision steel cutting and bending machines
n
Use of gantry crane to safely move materials
n
Load steel coils or bars into machines
n
Monitor automatic feeding, cutting, and bending operations
n
Conduct quality checks against bar schedules
n
About You: nn
Proven machine operation experience - essential
n
Background in manufacturing or steel reinforcement
n
Knowledge of rebar types and grades is a bonus!
n
Forklift licence is highly regarded but not essential
n
Willing to undergo a pre-employment medical assessment and police check
n
Must have full Australian working rights
n
n
Experience from a heavy manufacturing workplace is essential for this role.
