This is a remote contract role for a Bookkeeper. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records for our parent company in Australia. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for tasks such as bookkeeping, reconciling accounts, preparation of BAS and maintaining financial statements.

Bookkeeping and Accounting skills
n
Experience with Accounting Software such as Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks
n
Journal Entries (Accounting) skills
n
Knowledge of Financial Statements
n
Ability to work independently and remotely
n
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in financial record keeping
n
Solid ethics regarding data privacy of sensitive data
n
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
n
Experience in the healthcare industry is a plus
n
Skilled certification such as CPA or CA is a plus
n
Industry experience or robust knowledge of Australian tax rules and regulations would be highly advantageous
