We're looking for a dedicated Driver Trainer servicing our Truganina and surrounding depots to join our team and play a key role in ensuring our drivers are skilled, compliant, and confident on the road.Key responsibilitiesConduct on-road assessments and evaluations of driver performance, providing constructive feedback and coachingDesign, develop and deliver driver training programmes covering both theoretical knowledge and practical skillsIdentify training needs and develop customised development plans for drivers at all levelsMaintain accurate and detailed training records, documentation and driver competency profilesDeliver training on load security, fatigue management and compliance requirementsCollaborate with management to identify trends, gaps and opportunities for driver developmentConduct refresher training and retraining for existing drivers as requiredEnsure all training activities comply with relevant road transport legislation and industry standardsWhat we're looking forCurrent and valid multi-combination (MC)



vehicle licence with a clean driving recordMinimum 5 years' experience in heavy vehicle industryCertificate IV in Training and Assessment (or willingness to obtain)MUST be available for overnight travel to Echuca region during mid-December for a week-long periodStrong knowledge of road safety regulations, fatigue management laws and transport compliance requirementsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to engage, provide constructive feedback and support driver developmentStrong administrative and organisational skills with the capacity to manage training schedules and documentationAttention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in record-keeping and reportingA passion for safety and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risksReliability, professionalism and the ability to work both independently and as part of a teamDesirable: Experience in developing training materials or conducting group training sessionsWhy Join Us?
