With over 60 years experience in the market and boasting a reputation for excellence, the organisation is seeking a talented payroll skilled to provide support in a long service leave project.The RoleReporting to the Payroll Compliance Lead, you will be responsible for managing superannuation reconciliations, investigating exceptions and ensuring contributions are processed accurately and on time.
You will work closely with internal stakeholders, payroll teams, superannuation funds and external providers to resolve discrepancies and maintain compliance.Key responsibilitiesPerforming regular reconciliations between payroll systems, clearing houses and superannuation fundsInvestigating and resolving rejected superannuation contributionsManaging superannuation enquiries and maintaining a shared inboxLiaising with employees, payroll providers and superannuation funds to resolve issuesIdentifying,



investigating and resolving reconciliation variancesMaintaining accurate records and supporting documentation for audit purposesEscalating complex issues and contributing to process improvementsSupporting compliance with relevant payroll and superannuation legislationAbout YouTo be successful in this role, you will possess:Previous experience within payroll, superannuation administration or payroll complianceStrong reconciliation and investigative skillsHigh attention to detail and an analytical approach to problem solvingIntermediate Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and XLOOKUP/VLOOKUPThe ability to manage competing priorities and work to strict deadlinesStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsKnowledge of Australian payroll and superannuation legislationWhat's on OfferJoin a recognised and respected national organisationCollaborative and supportive team environmentExposure to a large, complex payroll environmentOpportunity to build specialist expertise in payroll superannuationHybrid working arrangementsAttractive remuneration packageAdditional informationAttractive hourly rate on offer - Immediate start requiredSouth Melbourne location (1 day in the office and 4 days from home)4 - 6 week temporary assignment with view to extend
