At Cortela Carbon, we're looking for a reliable and motivated Process Worker to join our Carbon Workshop team, helping manufacture carbon brushes and related products that support critical industrial applications.About the RoleThis is a hands-on production role where no two days are exactly the same.
You'll be working with specialised materials, tools, and equipment to produce high-quality carbon brush products, while supporting broader workshop and warehouse activities.You'll be part of a close-knit team that values quality, safety, and doing the job right the first time.
We'll provide training and support, but we're looking for someone who brings initiative, care, and a willingness to learn.What You'll Be DoingPreparing and processing carbon materials using workshop equipment (band saws, table saws, pedestal drills)Measuring and checking components using callipers and other precision toolsCarrying out brush manufacturing tasks such as terminating, stamping,



and tampingPerforming general metal work and production tasks as requiredSupporting warehouse and materials handling activitiesMaintaining a clean, safe, and organised work environmentCompleting production documentation and following proceduresWorking safely and in line with company policies and WHS requirementsAbout YouWe're looking for someone who:Enjoys hands-on, practical work and takes pride in quality outputHas robust attention to detail and can follow instructions accuratelyIs adaptable and willing to take on a variety of tasksShows initiative and helps out where neededWorks well in a team and communicates respectfullyHas basic numeracy skills and confidence using tools and equipmentIs physically capable of manual work in a workshop environmentNo formal qualifications are required!
