RPG Australia is a leading steel processing company that specialise in the delivery of integrated steel solutions.We provide pressing, rolling and profiling services to different industries all throughout Australia.We are currently looking for a Brake Press Operator to join our busy team at Wacol.Responsibilities include:Warehousing and distribution of steel products using overhead cranes and forkliftsSet up, operate, and program machines to achieve optimum efficiency and productivity.Prepare and inspect product, ensure production requirements are met, and bundle loads for deliveryPerform preventative maintenance and cleaning on machinesGeneral warehouse duties;Follow and maintain high workplace safety standards at all timesTo be successful in this role,
you will have:Experience working as a Machine Operator or in a similar rolePrevious metal and brake pressing experience is an advantageExperience in reading and interpreting drawings is highly regarded.A current forklift licence is highly regarded.Crane licence or experience operating overhead bridge gantry cranes highly regardedIf you're a team player looking for a fulfilling career in a thriving industry, we'd love to hear from you.
