We're partnering with a well-established manufacturing business that is seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join their maintenance team on a permanent basis. This is a day shift role with plenty of overtime available, offering excellent earning potential and immediate interviews.

About the Role n
Working as part of the maintenance team, you'll be responsible for carrying out preventative and breakdown maintenance across production equipment to keep operations running efficiently. This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who enjoys fault finding,
problem solving and working in a rapid‑paced manufacturing setting.
Key Responsibilities n
n
Perform preventative and reactive mechanical maintenance
n
Diagnose and repair mechanical and basic electrical faults
n
Maintain production machinery to minimise downtime
n
Install, service and commission equipment as required
n
Work closely with production to ensure maximum plant reliability
n
Follow all safety procedures and maintenance documentation
n
About You n
To be successful in this role, you'll have:
n
n
Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter
n
Electrical fault‑finding experience (disconnect/reconnect experience highly regarded)
n
D Class Electrical Licence preferred
n
Previous experience within the food manufacturing or FMCG industry preferred
n
Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
n
Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship
n
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
