Medical Receptionist – GP Clinics | Casual / Part-TimeMcKinnon Hill Medical Centre – McKinnon VICWe are looking for a friendly, reliable and organised Medical Receptionist to join our established GP practices in McKinnon and Sandringham.Casual and part-time opportunities are available, with ongoing regular hours and the prospect to pick up additional shifts across both clinics.Our clinics operate Monday to Friday, with rostered shifts between 7:30 am and 8:00 pm.
No weekend roster.Pay: Pay rates vary depending on employment type, experience and classification, plus superannuation.Medical reception experience is highly regarded; however, we are happy to train the right person who has strong customer service skills,



confidence with computers and the right attitude.Key responsibilitiesGreeting and checking in patientsAnswering phone enquiriesManaging appointmentsProcessing payments and Medicare-related administrationManaging correspondence and patient informationSupporting doctors, nurses and the wider practice teamAbout youWe are looking for someone who is:Friendly, professional and patient-focusedReliable and punctualOrganised with good attention to detailConfident using computersCalm and capable in a busy environmentA strong communicatorComfortable working as part of a teamWilling to learn and take initiativeMedical reception or GP practice experience is highly regarded, and Best Practice experience is an advantage, but neither is essential for the right candidate.AvailabilityThis is an ongoing position, however strong availability from October through December is essential, including the Christmas/New Year period when rostered.
