As a Field Engineer, you will provide hands-on engineering and construction support across a major mining and processing environment.
You will work closely with project leadership, construction teams and contractors to ensure works are delivered safely, to specification, and in line with approved schedules and quality requirements.You will support a broad range of infrastructure and plant works, including civil, mechanical, piping and electrical & instrumentation activities.
You will also contribute to a significant solar-plant development spanning approximately 100 hectares and incorporating around 70,000 solar panels, providing an opportunity to work across both traditional mining infrastructure and renewable energy.Working in a site-based environment, you will identify construction challenges, coordinate field activities, verify completed works and provide practical engineering solutions that keep project delivery moving.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide day-to-day field engineering and construction supportSupervise and coordinate multidisciplinary construction activitiesInspect civil, mechanical, piping and E&I; worksVerify construction against drawings, specifications and approved designsIdentify site issues and provide practical engineering solutionsSupport constructability reviews and identify site constraintsMonitor contractor progress, quality and complianceMaintain accurate field records and construction documentationSupport QA/QC activities and ensure defects are rectifiedCoordinate with project managers, superintendents and contractorsSupport process-plant completion and expansion activitiesAssist with crushers,
