Job Description

As an Electrical Compliance Engineer, you will ensure that electrical products meet AS/NZS standards and regulatory requirements. You will manage compliance processes across various products, liaising with suppliers, testing laboratories, and regulatory authorities.

Key responsibilities n

Ensure compliance of electrical and electronic products with Australian and New Zealand standards
n
Review inspection reports, test reports, and compliance documentation from suppliers
n
Conduct product evaluations, including electrical testing and troubleshooting
n
Identify compliance risks and implement corrective actions
n
Liaise with external laboratories, certification bodies, and compliance teams
n
Maintain compliance documentation and certification records
n
Monitor updates to relevant standards and ensure ongoing compliance
n
Support retailer compliance requirements and respond to technical enquiries.

Skills & experience nn
Degree or trade qualification in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related discipline
n
Proven experience in Electrical Compliance or Regulatory roles
n




Strong knowledge of AS/NZS electrical standards and frameworks
n
Experience with product testing, certification, and troubleshooting
n
Ability to interpret technical reports and laboratory test results
n
Strong problem-solving skills with a practical approach
n
Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
