Unreal Fur, a leading Australian vegan fashion brand, is seeking a talented and detail‑oriented Junior Fashion Designer to join our creative team in a full‑time role.

n

In this role, you will play a key part in the design and production process, ensuring the highest quality standards for our cruelty‑free fashion products. Education in Fashion/Textiles design is a must.

Responsibilities n

n
Assisting with development of seasonal ranges – wovens, knitwear, outerwear, accessories.
n
Sourcing fabrics that achieve quality standards within cost.
n
Costing products and negotiating with suppliers.
n
Creation and maintenance of spec sheets and adhering to schedules.
n
Measuring samples and attending fittings.
n
Providing timely, explicit communication, both to team members and suppliers.
n




Ability to work independently and in a team.
n
Ability to take direction and follow instruction.
n
Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.
n
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
n
An eye for quality, detail and consistency is key to the position as is the ability to multi‑task. Knowledge of print and textile development and accessories are beneficial.

Qualifications n

Applicants must be Melbourne based and have the right to work full time in Australia.

n

Ideal candidates will have 1–2 years of experience in a similar role and a formal qualification in fashion/textiles.
