Full Stack Engineer – AEM Assets, Dynamic Media & Content Hubn

Experience Level: Overall 3+ Years with 1+ Years in MarTech

Work Hours: 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM (Melbourne, Australia Time)

Engagement: 160 hours required per month / 7.5 hours per day.

Notice Period: Immediate Joiners Only

Engagement: An initial 3-month contract, with the possibility of permanent full time employment if the candidate is interested and meets the Full Stack Developer requirements.

Role Overviewn

We are looking for a full stack engineer who wants real depth across AEM Assets, Energetic Media, and Content Hub – from asset pipelines and rendition workflows through to setting up multi-brand portals that distribute content and assets to the right channels for each brand – while working closely with senior engineers and architects.

Key Responsibilitiesn

Configure and support AEM Assets, including Energetic Media renditions/Smart Crops and Digital Asset Management (DAM) workflows
n
Set up and maintain multi-brand portals in Content Hub – brand-specific collections, permissions, and distribution channels
n
Structure, tag, and distribute content and assets across brands through Content Hub
n
Build and maintain AEM Sites components, templates,



and Sling Models under senior guidance
n
Develop backend services in Java, contributing to integration work with enterprise systems
n
Take ownership of features within a sprint, escalating design questions to senior engineers or architects, and participate fully in Agile ceremonies
n

Requirementnn
4+ years in full stack software engineering, with hands-on experience on AEM
n
Hands-on with AEM Assets, Dynamic Media (renditions, Smart Crops), and DAM workflows/metadata
n
Experience configuring multi-brand portals in Content Hub, including collections, permissions, and distribution channels across brands
n
Strong core Java (Java 8+), Spring, RESTful API design; React JS or an equivalent modern frontend framework
n
Experience working in Agile teams, including active participation in Scrum ceremonies
n

Nice to Havenn
Exposure to multi-brand content governance, metadata taxonomy design, or DAM information architecture
n
Exposure to AEMaaCS Cloud Manager/Dispatcher/CDN configuration, and to Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium
n
An Adobe Certification (e.g. AEM Assets/Sites Developer) is well regarded, not required to apply
