Customer-focused role helping customers find the right hire solutionsJoin a supportive team at our Regency Park locationWeekend work from home flexibility available as part of a rotating rosterAbout the roleWe're looking for a Customer Service Agent to join our South Australian Support Branch team, based at Regency Park.You'll be one of the voices of Kennards Hire, helping customers over the phone and via email with everything from equipment hire and quotes through to deliveries, logistics, breakdowns and general enquiries.This is a role for someone who genuinely enjoys talking to people, solving problems and finding the best way to get things sorted.
You'll work closely with our branch network and operational teams to make our customers' jobs easy and deliver on our Every Customer a Raving Fan value.No two conversations will be exactly the same.
You'll be responsible for:Responding to customer enquiries over the phone and via emailUnderstanding what customers need and helping identify the right hire solutionPreparing equipment hire quotes and assisting customers through the hire processCoordinating with our branches and operational teams around equipment availability, deliveries and logisticsManaging customer orders and updating hire schedules and customer informationHelping resolve customer issues, complaints and escalationsSupporting customers with equipment breakdown enquiries and troubleshootingFollowing up with customers to confirm orders, services and other informationIdentifying opportunities to recommend additional equipment and consumablesCompleting the administration needed to keep customer hires running smoothly.The role goes beyond simply answering calls - you'll take ownership of enquiries, work with the wider Kennards Hire network and find practical solutions for customers.About youYou'll enjoy working in a fast-paced,



customer-focused environment where you're speaking with different people throughout the day and juggling multiple priorities.We're looking for someone who has:Experience handling customer enquiries by phone and emailStrong verbal and written communication skillsA genuine customer-first mindsetGood problem-solving and negotiation skillsConfidence using systems and Microsoft OfficeStrong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise and multitaskA flexible approach and ability to adapt when priorities changeGood administration and office-based skillsMost importantly, a genuine enjoyment of helping customers and solving problems over the phone.Your rosterThis is a full time role with a rotating roster, so flexibility is important.Weekday shifts may be 6:30am-3:00pm or 8:30am-5:00pm, with availability required for 7:30am-4:00pm weekend shifts on a rotating roster.For rostered weekend shifts, there is flexibility to work from home, giving you the convenience of remote work while continuing to support our customers.Join our teamYou can always tell someone who works at Kennards Hire.
