Australia Veteran Health Services looking for experienced claims clerks, nurses and administration staff to join their new practice in Springfield Central.

Selection Criteria
n
n
Previous ADF experience (3 years at least)
n
Understanding of private billing as well as Workcover, MBS and DVA
n
Understanding or experience with patients suffering from mental illness including PTSD
n
Knowledge of the Privacy Act and how it affects patient queries
n
An empathetic nature, and awareness of patient needs
n
Ability to work in a team and be proactive
n
Understanding or willing to learn AGPAL / RACGP accreditation standards
n
Ability to assess patient health records and the various stages of health assessments pre and post discharge
n
Knowledge of recalls and reminders using Automed
n
Knowledge and use of online appointments
n
Excellent understanding of Best Practice and associated software
n
Current CPR certification
n
Must be very qualified dealing with patients and doctors.
n
Able to deal with stressful situations. Mature communication style
n
Maybe required to travel
n
n
The Practice offers:
n
We are located in Springfield Centre QLD with available side street parking and close to public transport for convenience.
n
There are multiple positions for casual, part time and full time roles. Practice opening early August 2021.
n
