Overview n

Pharmaceutical company based in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne is seeking a QC Analyst for a 6-month fixed-term contract with potential to extend. Afternoon shift (2pm–10pm).

Responsibilities n

n
Conduct routine physical, chemical and instrumental testing on bulk products, stability samples, raw materials and finished goods
n
Conduct sampling, inspection and approval of materials as per SOP
n
Equipment maintenance and calibration
n
Manage test results using the data management system
n
Ensure compliance with GMP and GLP standards
n
Organise samples for external testing and interpret results
n
General housekeeping
n

Qualifications nn
Bachelor of Science majoring in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Science or related discipline
n




Must have prior laboratory experience ideally within pharmaceutical manufacturing setting. Open to other industries such as food and environmental.
n
Proven experience using chemistry analytical techniques
n
Valuable understanding of GMP and GLP
n
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
n
Valuable time management skills
n
Must have a car (due to afternoon shift)
n
