AUSTCORP is currently seeking an experienced HR or HC Driver and a Labourer/Roller Operator tojoin an established asphalt crew.

Depots based in Mittagong or Unanderra
This role will require you working away from home at times.
n
This is a excellent opportunity for someone with a background in asphalt, roadworks or civil construction who is looking for consistent work, good hours and the opportunity to be part of an experienced crew.
About the Role n
You’ll be working as part of an experienced roadworks/asphalt crew, with a combination of driving, general labouring and roller operation .
n
The role may include:
n
n
Operating rollers and assisting with asphalt works
n
General road construction and civil labouring
n
Driving HR/HC vehicles as required
n
Shovelling, raking and assisting the asphalt crew
n
Loading and unloading materials and equipment
n
Working away from home as required
n
Following all site safety requirements
n
n
Crack sealing experience will be highly regarded and is a excellent advantage.
What We’re Looking For n
Ideally, you will have:
n
n
Current HR or HC licence
n
Previous asphalt/road construction experience
n
Experience operating a roller
n
Construction White Card
n
Relevant RII tickets where applicable
n
Willingness to work away from home
n
Ability to work day and night shifts when required
n
Able to work away from home (LAHA Paid)
n
Reliable, punctual and safety-focused attitude
n
n
Experienced asphalt workers are preferred, however, we are also open to candidates from a civil construction background who have the right attitude, experience and willingness to learn the asphalt side of the industry.
