Job Description n

Design, implement, and manage secure network solutions with a focus on SASE technologies.
n
Monitor and optimise network performance to ensure reliable and secure connectivity.
n
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve network and security-related issues.
n
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with organisational security policies.
n
Conduct risk assessments and implement strategies to mitigate potential threats.
n
Manage and maintain network infrastructure, including firewalls and VPNs.
n
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
n
Stay updated on emerging network and security technologies relevant to the public sector.

The Successful Applicant n

A successful Senior Network & Security Engineer should have:

Robust technical expertise in Fortinet SASE technologies and network security.
n
Proven experience in designing and managing secure network infrastructures.
n
Knowledge of firewall management, VPNs, and other security protocols.
n
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
n
The ability to work effectively in a public sector workplace.
n
Relevant certifications in network and security technologies would be advantageous.
