You'll be operating an industrial sewing machine working with mesh, acrylic, PVC and canvas to produce premium outdoor blind and awning products to specification.This role goes beyond sewing.
You'll also assist with fabric cutting, heat welding and splining as part of a close-knit fabrics team.

PVC and canvasHemming and finishing blind and awning fabrics to specificationAssisting with fabric cutting, heat welding and spliningReading and following job sheets and standard operating proceduresWorking from drawings or samples to understand product constructionMaintaining quality standards and flagging issues when you see themContributing to a clean, secure and organised workshop floorWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FORExperience operating an industrial sewing machine.
This is essential.Comfortable working with heavy duty fabrics and materialsAble to read and follow technical job sheets and construction drawingsGood attention to detail.
Fabric finishing is visible in the final product.Someone who works independently and manages their own outputA team player who communicates and asks when they're not sureExperience with outdoor fabrics such as mesh, acrylic, PVC or canvas is highly regarded but not essentialWHAT'S ON OFFERCompetitive hourly rate depending on experienceFull time permanent from day oneImmediate startOn-site parkingHalf our team has been here over two years.
