Senior IT Support Engineer

We’re looking for a Senior IT Support Engineer to provide high-level onsite IT support across a qualified office and university lab setting.

Location: Brisbane, QLD

Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite, 5 days/week

Type: Contract

What You’ll Do
Provide L2/L3 desktop and end-user support across Windows and macOS environments.
Support senior executives and VIP users with white-glove IT support.
Provision, configure and troubleshoot MacBooks, Windows devices, applications and peripherals.
Troubleshoot DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi, networking and domain connectivity issues.
Support Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, OneDrive and SharePoint.
Manage endpoint policies and compliance using Microsoft Intune and Mac MDM tools.
Support conference rooms, AV equipment and executive presentations.
Set up and troubleshoot Windows/Linux systems in a university research lab environment.
Travel between Brisbane CBD and Griffith University as required.

What We’re Looking For




Strong hands-on experience supporting both Mac and Windows environments.
Proven executive/VIP or white-glove support experience.
Excellent MacBook provisioning and troubleshooting skills.
Experience with Intune and preferably Jamf, Kandji, Mosyle or another Mac MDM.
Robust understanding of DNS, DHCP, Active Directory and networking.
Experience with Microsoft 365 and preferably Okta/SSO/SAML.
Linux experience is a plus.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical users.
Calm, professional and confident working independently in high-pressure situations.
Comfortable traveling between Brisbane locations and supporting executives at external sites when required.
