As Project Manager, you'll be the link between the drawing board, the workshop and the site, owning projects from design through to handover.
Key responsibilities
Act as the primary contact for builders, clients and installers, resolving on-site issues and providing project updates
Interpret architectural plans, technical drawings and site measurements for workshop production
Work with detailers to identify the most cost-effective methods of manufacture and installation
Review shop drawings to ensure the architectural design intent is met
Collaborate with factory staff to ensure joinery is built accurately and to specification
Monitor in office installation for design compliance and WHS standards, and manage defect rectification
Manage project costs and variations, and oversee project documentation
About you
Experience in cabinet making, joinery or in office installation
Solid knowledge of cabinet design, construction methods, materials and finishing techniques
A solid understanding of cabinet installation
Proficiency in reading architectural and shop drawings
Excellent communication and client management skills
Proficiency with cabinet construction software (Cabinet Vision knowledge advantageous)
A current White Card
Project management qualifications highly regarded
