The role of claims consultant is primarily responsible for ensuring CHU achieves its strategic objectives through a consistent delivery of a high calibre claims service. The role involves working within the Branch team focused on end-to-end claims management processes, driving an outstanding customer experience and delivering market leading loss assessment through quality technical response.

Experience working in either broker or intermediary based insurer workplace.
Property claims experience, preferably strata, preferred but not essential.
Sound working knowledge of claims operations and understanding of quality service standards.
ANZIIF Cert IV or equivalent.
Robust problem solving and ability to think analytically.
Comprehensive experience in dealing with loss assessors, repairers, brokers, strata managers etc.
Demonstrated high level of organisational and time management skills.
Management of catastrophe claims delivery.
