The Craigslea State School P&C; Association is looking for an enthusiastic Tuckshop & OSHC Cook to join our growing team and help shape the future of food services within our school community.
This is not your typical school tuckshop role.
Our Tuckshop provides meals to hundreds of students each week and is expanding its services to include:
Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) meal preparationFresh food productionStaff lunch optionsSpecial event food daysBulk food preparation and freezer-friendly menu itemsFuture catering opportunitiesCafé-style offerings
We're looking for someone who loves food, takes pride in quality and enjoys working as part of a supportive, community-focused team.

About the Role
Working closely with our Tuckshop team, you will help:




Prepare and cook meals for our OSHC serviceCoordinate fruit and snack preparationAssist with menu development and planningUndertake bulk food preparation and cookingAssist with food ordering and stock managementMaintain high food safety and hygiene standardsSupport special food days and school eventsAssist with catering as opportunities ariseContribute to ongoing improvements and growth initiatives
This is a hands‐on role that will suit someone who enjoys being in the kitchen and seeing the direct impact of their work.

About You
You'll ideally bring:
Experience in food preparation, cooking or hospitalityA passion for quality food and customer serviceStrong organisational skillsThe ability to work independently and as part of a teamKnowledge of food safety and hygiene practicesA positive attitude and willingness to contribute ideas
Formal chef qualifications are welcomed but not essential.
Most importantly, we're looking for someone who is reliable, enthusiastic and excited about helping us build something special.
