We are seeking an experienced Principal Project Officer to lead a range of important governance, compliance, business continuity and organisational establishment initiatives.
This is a senior project role requiring strong strategic thinking, sound judgement and the ability to lead complex work, provide advice and drive delivery across an organisation.
Responsibilities:
Lead non-financial compliance work, including policies, procedures, internal controls and supporting documentation
Lead business continuity planning and the development of the internal control framework
Oversee fleet governance and operations, including policy, controls, utilisation, maintenance and service arrangements
Provide strategic advice on priority establishment and corporate projects
Identify and resolve complex issues and drive projects through to deliveryile>
Work collaboratively across the organisation to develop practical and effective governance and operational arrangements
About You:
Extensive experience leading complex projects, ideally within a government or highly regulated setting
Robust knowledge of governance, compliance, risk, internal controls and business continuity
Demonstrated ability to provide strategic advice and resolve complex issues
Solid stakeholder engagement, influencing and communication skills
Highly organised, with the ability to lead multiple priorities and deliver outcomes in a changing environment
