S&R; Engineering and Construction – Bendigo VICThis is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working around vehicles, machinery and equipment and takes pride in keeping things clean, organised and ready for work.
Reporting directly to the Yard Manager, you will assist with the day-to-day operation of the yard and support the preparation, movement and presentation of plant and equipment across construction projects.Key responsibilitiesWashing, cleaning and detailing mobile plant, vehicles and equipmentPreparing plant and equipment for mobilisation to construction sitesAssisting with loading and unloading trucksMoving vehicles and equipment around the yardRefuelling plant and equipmentCollecting parts, consumables and supplies as requiredAssisting with incoming and outgoing plant and equipmentCompleting basic plant pre-start and condition checksMaintaining a clean, secure and organised yardAssisting with basic repairs and maintenance of small motors and equipmentAbout youWe are looking for someone who is:Reliable, punctual and willing to workComfortable working outdoors and in a hands-on environmentAble to work independently once shown what is requiredOrganised and able to take pride in the presentation of plant and vehiclesSafety consciousWilling to learn and take on additional responsibility over timeInterested in construction plant, vehicles,
