About the Role
As a Costing Clerk, you will play a key role in supporting accurate, timely and efficient invoicing across the Service Department.
Your responsibilities will include:
Compiling cost reports for the Service Department, including calculating individual costs and estimating future costsReviewing and reporting on daily work-in-progress to support business plan targetsPre-costing all repair orders, giving priority to wait and early jobsPreparing accurate customer invoices in a timely manner,



with clear explanations of completed workDetailing recommendations for further repair works and/or wear reports, when requiredEnsure the accuracy of customer, vehicle and billing details is maintained at all timesPreparing daily reports on departmental costs and marginsEnsure files are appropriately and accurately maintained in accordance with company proceduresReviewing processes and recommending improvements to support ongoing invoicing efficiency across the business
What We're Looking For
Demonstrated industry business experience preferredPrevious costing & / or service department experience preferredConfident computer skills in Microsoft OfficeDealer Management Systems exposureStrong communication skills - written and verbalSound computer literacyStrong numerical skillsExcellent attention to detailStrong time management and organisational skillsAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlinesA positive, team-focused approach and commitment to delivering quality service
