We have a new opportunity for a Law Student to join our team.
This is a adaptable role that will suit an individual looking for an entry into a career in family law alongside their studies.Key responsibilitiesThe Law Student role will primarily be responsible for:General day to day office tasks including filing, scanning, mail, tidyingScanning and digitizing of archive paper-based files into our cloud storageAlongside those duties and after an initial probationary period we will also provide opportunities to learn:Legal secretary/admin support for our director and solicitorsPreparation of letters,



documents and Court formsTranscribing/cleanup of dictationsProviding support at Court appearances and mediationsAssisting with reception such as greeting clients and in-person enquiriesHandling phone enquiries and outbound callsThough it is not an immediate requirement to be available full-time during business hours, our goal is for the successful candidate to eventually transition to full-time hours as they develop in the role.About youThe ideal candidate for this role will have:Familiarity with Microsoft Windows and Office programsFast and accurate typing skillsExcellent attention to detailAbility to prioritize and multi-taskStrong work ethic and a proven history of learningProfessional and friendly nature with clients and other staffRemuneration for our Legal Support Team members is based on the Legal Services Award.
