We are seeking a Quality Control Officer to join our team.
The position is full-time and based out of our head office in Mulwala with an employer who values your team and solution driven mindset.
You will need to be a confident, detail-oriented individual ready to thrive in a busy setting.
Qualifications:
Relevant qualifications or industry experience in a similar roleConstruction Induction Card (White card)Current Drivers LicenceCurrent Forklift Licence advantageous
Skills required:
A minimum 2 years experience in a similar roleExcellent computer literacy and Microsoft SkillsProficient knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods including framing, lock up, fix, cladding & decking work highly regardedPhysically fit and able to perform the physical requirements of the roleComprehensive knowledge of building methods, processes,



and materialsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProven organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads effectivelyAbility to follow and drive for procedure improvements & efficienciesA positive and solution driven mindsetStrong work ethic and the willingness to help others and work within a teamPersonal pride in the quality of your work and solid attention to detailConfidence to work independentlyAbility to meet required deadlinesA good understanding of the building/manufacturing industry (desirable but not essential)
Responsibilities:
Effectively complete al quality control programsLearn from QC outcomes and drive continuous improvements in quality through coaching and development of the construction and sub contracting teamsDiscuss daily and weekly tasks and schedules with the Construction Supervisor to ensure operational efficiencies.Manage and further strengthen key relationships with all trades and suppliers.Actively participate in the development of new products and methods.
