The business is seeking an FP&A; Manager to join its finance function.About the roleReporting to the CFO, you'll turn operational activity into short-term and multi-year financial plans and give the business the insight it needs to make sound decisions.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll work with senior management, operational leaders and the broader finance team.Key responsibilities include:Leading the annual budgeting process and preparing budget packs and commentary for senior management and the BoardMaintaining a rolling forecast, with variance analysis and clear commentaryDeveloping scenario and sensitivity models to support strategic and commercial decisionsOwning the standard cost framework and unit economics, including return on capital analysisProducing monthly performance and cost analysis, identifying key drivers,



risks and opportunitiesOwning and improving the business's financial models and planning tools, including identifying opportunities to automate and streamline processesMaintaining the integrity of planning and forecasting data in partnership with IT and operationsContributing to monthly management and Board reportingLeading, guiding and reviewing the work of a commercial analystAbout youCPA or CA qualifiedSolid experience in FP&A;, management accounting or commercial financeAdvanced Excel skills and the ability to build financial models from scratchStrong understanding of standard costing and variance analysisExcellent communication skills and the confidence to present financial information to non-finance audiencesCollaborative, solutions-focused and able to manage competing prioritiesTeam leadership experience and experience in asset-intensive industries will be highly regarded
