Greenslopes Family Practice – Greenslopes QLDDoctor owned General Practice clinic Greenslopes is seeking an experienced, friendly, empathetic medical receptionist who thrives in a fast-paced environment to join our team.
This is a part time position working a 5 day fortnight (full days) with a set roster.
The days you will need to be available are Mon/Tues and every second Wednesday.Key responsibilitiesPatient care including welcoming to the clinic, booking appointments & processing billingSupporting our clinical team with ability to manage the different requirements of individual doctors as well as coordination with the nursing teamAdministration duties such as payments, Medicare/DVA processing, scanning and supplies orderingAssisting the Practice Manager,
within scope of role with accreditation preparation requirements and quality improvement activitiesAbout youA minimum of 2 years working in general practice as a receptionistGenuine interest in working in the general practice environment as part of a close-knit teamGood knowledge of Medicare and DVA billingsAbility to multitask and prioritise workflowUnderstand the importance of maintaining privacy in a health setting to meet privacy obligationsFriendly demeanor with a positive attitude who enjoys working as part of a teamAbility to have some flexibility as we are a smaller team and at times may require sick or holiday coverWilling to step outside of your comfort zone to grow within the rolePrevious experience with accreditation procedures/requirements (reception level)CPR certificateBest Practice software experienceRate of pay will be determined by experience and between $34-$36 per hour plus entitlements and superannuation.
