Since our establishment, the business has experienced significant growth, creating recent opportunities for Boilermakers, Fabricators and On-Site Fitters to join our team.We are looking for versatile, practical people who are happy to do a little bit of everything.
If you enjoy variety and don't want to spend every day doing the exact same job, this could be a great fit.Experience with grain handling or conveying equipment would be highly regarded, but it is not essential.
We have an experienced team who can provide the product knowledge and support required to get the right person up to speed.Boilermaker / FabricatorThe RoleDepending on your skills and experience, your work may include:MIG welding of mild steel and stainless steelFabricating and assembling grain handling, conveying and storage equipmentReading, interpreting and working from engineering and fabrication drawingsMeasuring, marking out, cutting and preparing materialsMechanical assembly and fitting of manufactured equipmentGeneral workshop fabrication and manufacturingWorking with a range of materials, components and machineryAssisting with testing and final preparation of equipmentOpportunities to operate and develop skills on our turret punch, press brakes and laser cutterOpportunities to travel and assist with on-site installations, with projects ranging from Melbourne through to TownsvilleThis isn't a role where you'll necessarily be stuck doing the same type of welding every day.
We want people who are willing to get involved across the manufacturing process and build a broad range of skills.What We're Looking ForIdeally, you'll have:The ability to confidently MIG weld mild steel and stainless steelThe ability to read,



interpret and understand engineering drawingsGood fabrication, mechanical and problem-solving skillsThe ability to accurately measure, mark out and manufacture componentsA willingness to learn and take on different types of workA strong focus on safety and qualityThe ability to work independently as well as part of a teamA current driver's licencePrevious experience with conveying or grain handling equipment would be beneficial, but is not requiredAbove all, we want someone who is reliable.
