The Database
/n Administrator / Data Analyst provides routine database administration and
/n data management support for the client's maintenance analysis and reporting
/n tools. Key accountabilities include maintaining database availability, /n performing routine backups, and monitoring data integration success between
/n source systems and the data lake environment.

Key
/n Responsibilities
/n
· Manage and maintain
/n system databases for legacy and contemporary environments
/n (SQL 2014 and 2019).
/n
· Monitor data integration
/n success and remediate failures between source systems using SQL
/n transactional replication.
/n
· Maintain data structure
/n and quality within the application suite, ensuring data is ready for future
/n migration.
/n
· Execute scripts and application
/n data exports to support third-party and national
/n compliance audits approximately twice per year.
/n
· Assist in data quality
/n profiling and remediation work as directed by the Lead DBA or government
/n stakeholders.
/n
Required
/n Skills and Expertise
/n
· Experience in Microsoft
/n SQL Server administration (2014/2019) including SSIS and SSRS .
/n
· Proficiency in SQL
/n scripting for data analysis and reporting.
/n
· Understanding of Incident
/n and Problem Management within a secure, multi-vendor setting.
/n
Mandatory
/n Requirements

· Active AGSVA NV1
/n Clearance (Required for privileged access to production databases).
/n
· Must
/n be able to work full time in Melbourne
/n (Laverton) or in Ballarat or in Canberra
