About the Role
We are looking for a driven, energetic and highly motivated VIE Engineer to join our Precast team.
This is a hands-on, site-based role offering the opportunity to learn the manufacturing and operational side of our business from the ground up. Working in a quick-paced workplace, the VIE Engineer will support day-to-day precast operations while developing practical experience across production, safety, quality and coordination.
Key Responsibilities
Support day-to-day precast manufacturing and production activities
Assist with the coordination and monitoring of precast operations to ensure safe, efficient and high-quality production
Work closely with supervisors, engineers, operators and other stakeholders to ensure instructions and operational requirements are clearly understood
Support the implementation of safety, quality and operational procedures
Assist with production planning, reporting and documentation
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the precast operations
Develop a practical understanding of precast manufacturing processes and site operations
Qualifications & Experience
Recently completed Engineering degree (any engineering discipline)
Willingness to work a rotating shift roster: 7 days on / 3 days off, followed by 7 nights on / 4 nights off.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Ability to clearly communicate instructions, safety requirements and operational information in a rapid-paced site environment
Positive attitude, solid work ethic and eagerness to learn
Proactive, adaptable and comfortable working in a hands-on operational environment
Previous exposure to construction, manufacturing, precast or site operations is advantageous but not essential
