About the opportunity

As a Maintenance Fitter at Visy, you’ll be responsible for ensuring secure, efficient, and cost-effective operations by maintaining equipment, supporting your team, and driving continuous improvement. You’ll also play a key role in upholding product quality and collaborating across departments to deliver operational targets
Shift details: afternoon shift (2pm to 10pm) + 15% shift loading

What you will do:
Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on plant equipment
Install and upgrade mechanical systems and equipment
Keep accurate maintenance records in line with quality standards
Support continuous improvement activities to ensure all systems are efficient, transparent and deliver required results.
Ensure appropriate compliance audits are conducted
Monitoring all outgoing material to ensure quality compliance.

What you will bring to the team:
Recognised trade qualification (Fitter)
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
‘Hands on’ Practical experience in a maintenance environment
Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills.
Forklift license desirable
