Job Opportunity: Emergency Medicine Physician – Senior Staff Specialist / Staff Specialist / Senior Medical Officer

We are seeking experienced and motivated Emergency Medicine Physicians to join busy emergency department as a Senior Staff Specialist, Staff Specialist, or Senior Medical Officer.

Compensation Package

/n

/n The total remuneration for this position can reach up to $610k per year (L27), which includes:

/n

/n
A base salary per annum (L18 – L27)

/n
12.75% employer superannuation contribution

/n
17.5% leave loading

/n
Professional Development Allowance ($21,500 annually)

Motor Vehicle Allowance

/n
Overtime and on-call allowances

/n
Emergency Department Specialty Allowance

Attraction and Retention Incentive Allowance (including Private Practice opportunities)

/n Join a busy regional emergency department, providing care to both adult and paediatric patients. With an annual presentation volume of 55,000 (25% paediatric), this 310-bed referral centre in Central Queensland offers a comprehensive range of services.

Requirements

/n

/n
MBBS or equivalent and eligibility for registration with the Medical Board of Australia

/n
Fellowship of the Australasian College of Emergency Medicine (FACEM) and registration as a Specialist in Emergency Medicine with AHPRA

/n
ACEM trainees awaiting fellowship results are encouraged to apply

Substantially Comparable outcomes for SIMGs are also welcomed
