Job Title: APS6 Senior Compliance & Investigations Officer | Regulatory
Lead complex compliance reviews and investigations within a major Australian Government regulatory setting, applying risk-based analysis to financial information, identifying non-compliance and supporting high-quality regulatory outcomes.
Location: Canberra, ACT or Melbourne, VIC
Work Arrangement: Flexible working arrangements available
Security Clearance Requirement: Baseline
Essential Tasks:
Conduct risk-based investigations and complex compliance reviews.
Analyse financial, data and intelligence sources to identify risks and non-compliance.
Prepare high-quality briefs, reports, correspondence and advice for decision-makers.
Provide guidance and support to junior staff while contributing to policy and process improvement.
Key Criteria:
Experience supporting or leading financial audits, assurance or comparable compliance activities.
Solid analytical capability to interpret complex information and identify issues or risks.
Highly developed communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Ability to manage competing priorities, exercise sound judgement and deliver quality outcomes under pressure.
