Our Federal Government client is seeking an experienced APS5 Investigations and APS6 Senior Investigations Officer to join their busy team on a Non-Ongoing APS contract (Fixed Term Contract) for 1 year. About the role
Help gather, review, and record information to support investigations into possible breaches
Examine documents and financial records, identify any concerns or missing information, and provide advice to help inform decisions.
Use data and intelligence tools to identify people, organisations, or activities that may pose a compliance risk.
Review information and trends to detect signs of non-compliance and help develop targeted compliance activities.
Assist with preparing briefs, reports, and correspondence for decision-makers.
Ensure information is accurate, explicit, and consistent, and support a high-quality approach to investigations and compliance work.
About you
You will ideally have a Certificate IV in Government Investigations
You will have previous experience working in investigations within a government environment
You will have robust analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex information and data
You will have strong communication skills - both written and verbal, and the ability to work with stakeholders at all levels
You will be self-motivated, and have strong organisational and time management skills
You will have a current/active Federal Government Baseline Clearance.

Salaries - APS5 $82,336 - $90,234 plus super, APS6 $91,140 - $102,152 plus super
