Human Resources Officer - Permanent Part-timeOffering work life balance this 'all-rounder' Human Resources generalist position combines a wide range of HR and OHS elements that make the role equally unique and exciting.It is a great opportunity for a capable HR qualified who enjoys being involved across the full employee lifecycle and wants a role where they can take ownership of core HR processes while working closely with the CEO, managers and operational teams.Working approximately three days per week, (days and hours to be agreed based on operational requirements), you will manage the administration of our Employment Hero HR system, support payroll processes, coordinate onboarding, prepare employment documentation, monitor HR compliance and provide practical HR support to managers and employees.
You will also manage all workers compensation claims and return-to-work plans.Key responsibilitiesBe the first point of contact for all HR and OHS queriesManage employee relations matters including performance management, grievances and disciplinary processesProvide practical HR support to managers and employees across routine employment mattersPrepare employment contracts, contract variations and other employment documentation following CEO approvalManage employee onboarding, induction and offboarding processesTrack probation periods, licences, qualifications, clearances,



training and other HR compliance requirementsCoordinate probation reviews and ensure managers are reminded of upcoming requirementsControl the administration of workers compensation claims processes and return-to-work plans, working alongside employees and managersManage the ongoing administration of Employment Hero, including employee records, employment information, leave and HR dataSupport payroll by ensuring timesheets, leave and approved employee changes are accurate and provided on timeApply and interpret the relevant Awards across routine HR and payroll matters, including classifications, hours, overtime, penalties, allowances, breaks and leave conditions.Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and personnel files.Prepare routine HR reports and workforce information for management.Maintaining and reviewing HR policies and procedures.Help improve HR systems, templates and processes across Joii.About youA qualification in Human Resources, Business, Management or a related discipline5 years' experience as an HR Officer, HR Coordinator or HR generalist in a similar hands-on roleReturn to Work (RTW) Coordinator experience and Return to Work (RTW) Certificate (preferred)A sound understanding of Australian employment practices and the Fair Work frameworkExperience with HR systems,



employee records and employment lifecycle processesExperience using Employment Hero or a similar HR/workforce management platformExperience supporting payroll administrationExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, including diplomacy, confidentiality, relationship building and stakeholder managementExceptional HR administrative and organisational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detailThe ability to prioritise and manage competing deadlines while working part-timeStrong written and interpersonal communication skills.Good Microsoft Office and HR systems capability.A current Driver's LicenseAbout usAt Joii People, we connect businesses with people and processes that make a difference.
