About the role:

Are you an experienced neonatal nurse ready to take the next step in your leadership journey?
You will play an important role in supporting our nurses to develop their skills, confidence and capability while fostering a positive and collaborative team culture.
Key responsibilities:
Provide strong clinical leadership and role model excellence in neonatal nursing practice.
Coordinate and support the delivery of safe, high-quality care across the shift.
Lead, support and motivate staff to achieve positive outcomes for babies, families and the team. Support the education, orientation, preceptorship and professional development of nurses at all levels. Promote evidence-based practice, quality improvement, clinical safety and innovation.
Work collaboratively with medical, allied health and other multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care. Contribute to effective staffing, workload allocation, rostering, resource management and operational flow.
Support staff wellbeing, professional relationships and a positive workplace culture.
About you:
Current Registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
Neonatal expertise – with a Neonatal Intensive Care postgraduate qualification and demonstrated neonatal clinical competence.
Strong clinical leadership – Demonstrated ability to lead, support and develop nursing staff, with effective communication, interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills.
Commitment to protected,
evidence-based care – A strong commitment to high-quality, safe and person-centred care, with knowledge of NSQHS Standards and a demonstrated ability to contribute to quality improvement and evidence-based practice.
