Keep the restaurant moving.Avolta is looking for a reliable and motivated Shift Supervisor to join our Hungry Jack's team at Gold Coast Airport.This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll take responsibility for the restaurant during your shift, lead the team on the floor and support the Restaurant Manager with day-to-day operations.You'll be working in the unique environment of Gold Coast Airport, surrounded by travellers and holidaymakers in a fully air-conditioned workplace.Position OverviewAs a Shift Supervisor, your primary responsibility is to run a safe, efficient and successful shift.

Through its global network of airports and travel hubs, Avolta serves millions of travellers every year and is focused on creating a Travel Experience Revolution.Key AccountabilitiesSupervising and coordinating team members during your shiftAllocating positions and adjusting team deployment according to tradeLeading the team through busy service periodsEnsuring the restaurant opens and closes correctly when rosteredMaintaining high standards of customer service, food quality and speed of serviceSupporting both Front of House and Back of House operationsEnsuring food safety, hygiene,



cleaning and workplace procedures are followedMonitoring stock and product availability during your shiftSupporting cash handling and daily operational proceduresManaging breaks and maintaining appropriate coverageCoaching and supporting team members on shiftResponding to customer concerns and operational issuesEscalating significant issues to the Restaurant Manager when requiredAssisting the Restaurant Manager with the overall performance and standards of the restaurantThis is a hands-on position.
You'll be expected to lead from within the operation, serving customers, supporting the kitchen and stepping in wherever your team needs you.Experience and Specific RequirementsWe're looking for someone who can confidently take ownership of a shift while working closely with the Restaurant Manager to deliver strong operational and customer service outcomes.Experience in Hungry Jack's, QSR, rapid food, or a similar high-volume hospitality environmentPrevious experience as a Supervisor, Shift Manager, Team Leader, or Senior Crew MemberConfidence supervising, directing and supporting a teamStrong communication and organisational skillsThe ability to remain calm and organised during busy service periodsA sound understanding of food safety, cleanliness and operational standardsA hands-on leadership style with a willingness to lead by exampleStrong reliability,



accountability and punctualityA positive attitude and passion for coaching and developing othersFlexibility to work a rotating roster, including evenings, weekends and public holidaysHungry Jack's experience is highly regarded but not essential.
Experienced Crew Members and Team Leaders looking to take the next step into shift supervision are encouraged to apply.Our Hungry Jack's operation at Gold Coast Airport operates 7 days a week across early morning, day, evening, weekend and public holiday shifts (between 3:00am and 10:00pm).
Flexibility is important, and reliable transport to and from the airport is essential.
Successful applicants must also meet relevant airport security and access requirements.Pay & ConditionsThis position is classified as Level 3 under the Fast Food Industry Award, with applicable penalty rates, allowances and employment conditions.Why Join Us?
