What is the role?
Educating and caring for children 3 – 6 years oldShort shifts 8:15am to 3:30pm however start/finish times can be negotiableShort kindergarten sessions of 5 hours a daySmall to medium group sizesWorking in small teams of 2-3 staff members per serviceWorking both indoors and outdoors in natural outdoor play spaces.What you needThe successful candidate will have one of the following:a primary or secondary teaching qualification AND teacher registration in Australia AND an ACECQA approved certificate III level (or higher) early childhood education and care qualification.a primary teaching qualification onlyACECQA approved certificate III level, diploma or Bachelor early childhood education and care qualification.In addition, the successful candidates will have:a current Working with Children CheckProtecting Children – Mandatory Reporting and other Obligations for the Early Childhood Sector certificatea current first aid and CPR certificatecurrent certificates in the management of asthma and management of anaphylaxis.
