ICOOKED Delivery Driver / Support ReceptionistICOOKED is seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver / Support Receptionist to join our team on a part-time basis.
Based in Toowoomba, QLD, this role is integral to our logistics operations, ensuring that our delicious meals reach customers promptly and in excellent condition.
You will be the face of iCooked to our customers, playing a crucial part in maintaining our reputation for quality and community service.
Our customers span a wide range of people from Support at Home aged care, to wholesale, corporate clients and back to the general public.
A love of people (especially those in our over 80s community) is a must for this position!
Key responsibilitiesOperate delivery vehicles safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and company policiesLoad and unload packages and goods from delivery vehicles with care and attentionProvide relief reception support to our Admin Support Officer on ThursdaysPlan and execute delivery routes to maximise efficiency and meet customer delivery schedulesMaintain accurate delivery records and obtain payment if requiredCommunicate professionally with customers, addressing any queries or concerns regarding deliveriesAssist with stock management and warehouse operations when not on delivery runsWhat we're looking forValid driver's licence appropriate for the vehicle class being operated (manual or automatic)Police Check and Yellow or Blue Card or willing to obtainThe ability to navigate efficiently using maps or GPS systemsExcellent time management and organisational skills to manage multiple deliveriesProfessional customer service skills and a courteous, friendly demeanour including a great phone mannerPhysical fitness and ability to lift and carry parcels and goods safelyA clean driving record with no serious traffic violations or at-fault accidentsReliability and punctuality, with a strong work ethic and commitment to meeting deadlinesAbility to work independently with minimal supervision whilst maintaining safety standardsBasic IT skillsAvailable to work 8am to 1.30pm Tuesday to Friday (20 hours)What we offerPart-time working arrangements that accommodate your lifestyle and commitments, ideal for a return to work or semi-retired individualA supportive and cooperative working environment where your contributions are valuedOpportunities for professional development and potential progression within the companyDaily lunch made for you!
