Wherever you join us, you'll be part of a global community shaping the next generation of finance technology.What you'll do and what we offerJoin us as a Senior Account Manager in Sydney at Aptitude Software, where you will play a strategic and commercially focused role in managing and growing a portfolio of enterprise clients across the APAC region.
You will be responsible for building senior stakeholder relationships, driving account growth, identifying expansion opportunities, and ensuring clients realise long‐term value from Aptitude's solutions.This role is focused on commercial account ownership, revenue growth, strategic relationship management, and client retention across Aptitude's APAC customer base.You Will Be:Managing and growing a portfolio of strategic enterprise accounts across APAC, with ownership of client relationships, commercial performance, and long‐term account strategyBuilding strong, trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and acting as a strategic advisor across finance, operations, and technology functionsIdentifying upsell, cross‐sell, and expansion opportunities across Aptitude's product suite to drive incremental revenue growthLeading commercial discussions including renewals, pricing negotiations, contract extensions,



and account planning activitiesDeveloping and executing strategic account plans aligned to client priorities and business objectivesDriving high levels of client retention and customer satisfaction across your account portfolioPartnering closely with Product, Professional Services, Support, Sales, and Partnerships teams to ensure successful delivery and ongoing client valueManaging escalations effectively and acting as a senior point of contact for key client stakeholdersProviding accurate forecasting, pipeline visibility, and account reporting to senior leadershipRepresenting Aptitude and Fynapse professionally at executive‐level meetings, client reviews, and industry eventsMaintaining a strong understanding of Aptitude's product suite, market positioning, and broader finance technology landscapeManaging a strategic book of business with ownership for achieving a 12% annual growth target, balancing retention protection with proactive expansion and commercial developmentWhat We OfferWe'll offer you a competitive salary plus commission scheme, as well as the following perks:SuperannuationPrivate HealthcareEmployee Assistance ProgrammeWhere You'll BeThis role is based in Sydney and will involve managing customers across the region.
Given the regional nature of the role, there will be regular engagement with customers across different locations and time zones, including face‐to‐face client meetings where required.What We're Looking For:7+ years of experience in Account Management, Enterprise Sales, Strategic Accounts,



or a commercially focused client‐facing role within SaaS or fintechProven experience managing large enterprise accounts and driving revenue growth within existing customer basesStrong commercial acumen with experience owning renewals, upselling, and complex commercial negotiationsExperience engaging and influencing senior stakeholders and C‐suite executivesAbility to manage multiple strategic accounts within a fast‐paced, high‐growth environmentExcellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skillsStrong organisational skills with a proactive, solutions‐oriented mindsetA confident self‐starter, comfortable operating independently across the APAC region, taking ownership and proactively driving client and commercial activity with minimal day‐to‐day directionAbility and willingness to travel across the region to build and maintain strong client relationshipsExperience within financial technology, enterprise software, ERP, or finance transformation environments is highly desirableEntrepreneurial attitude with a collaborative, high‐performance approach to client managementDiversity and InclusionIf you're interested in working at Aptitude, but don't feel you meet every single requirement of the role, we'd still like to hear from you!
