Education Leader and Inclusion Support CoordinatorArabanoo Before and After School Care – Balgowlah Heights NSWThe Educational and Senior People Leader is responsible for educational leadership and programming, including implementation of My Time, Our Place (MTOP), pedagogical leadership, and high level support for children and inclusion.
The role also provides senior people leadership, directly managing Educators and coordinating with the People and Support Coordinator on broader staffing matters.
The role maintains a regular presence on the floor, prioritising afternoons with children and liaising with school teachers regarding children's wellbeing.Although advertised as full time, the role is flexible and would suit ******* hours per week.Key responsibilitiesMy Time, Our Place (MTOP) implementationInclusion support and wellbeing for childrenWeekly and Vacation Care programmingEducational planning and documentationMaintain and update physical environments in both centresProgramming meetings and critical reflectionPedagogical leadership and educator supportCoaching and feedback on the floor for staffDirect management of EducatorsRegular work in progress and development conversationsAbout youApproved teaching qualification and demonstrated experience in an educational leadership role within OSHC, teaching or early childhood educationStrong working knowledge of My Time, Our Place (MTOP) and the National Quality Standard, particularly QA1Demonstrated experience leading programming, critical reflection and pedagogical practiceExperience directly managing and developing Educators, including regular coaching and performance conversationsExperience supporting children with additional needs, including behaviour support strategies and Inclusion Support Funding processesExcellent communication skills for family engagement, school liaison, and staff trainingExperience with OWNA or the ability to quickly learn programming and communication systemsCurrent Working with Children Check (WWCC)A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively both on the floor with children and in an office/leadership capacityAbout usArabanoo Before & After School Centre Inc. operates before and after school care for up to 185 children and 35 staff.
