At Sedgman, we're delivering some of Australia's most significant mineral processing and resource projects, and we're looking for an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to join our growing project delivery team.Based in Brisbane, you'll support the delivery of major mineral processing and resource projects across Australia.
Working closely with engineering, construction and commissioning teams, you'll play a key role in delivering electrical project outcomes from construction through to commissioning, with regular site travel to support project execution and stakeholder engagement.This is an opportunity to work within a business that delivers end-to-end EPC/EPCM solutions and gives project engineers exposure to the full project lifecycle.What You'll DoCoordinate and manage electrical work packagesManage contractors and subcontractors to achieve project outcomesSupport construction, commissioning and project delivery activitiesWork closely with engineering, procurement and site teamsAssist with contract administration and variation managementMonitor project progress, schedule and cost performanceContribute to project reporting and forecasting activitiesBuild strong relationships with clients,
contractors and project stakeholdersAbout YouYou are a hands-on Project Engineer who enjoys working in a delivery-focused workplace and has experience supporting complex construction projects.To be successful, you will have:Bachelor of Electrical EngineeringApproximately 5+ years' Project Engineering experienceContractor and subcontractor management experienceExposure to mining, mineral processing, power generation or heavy industry projectsStrong stakeholder engagement and communication skillsAbility to work across multidisciplinary project teamsConstruction and commissioning experienceCommercial and contract administration exposureWhy Sedgman?
