The Parkside Head Office supports the service of clients including government bodies, utilities, and property developers.About the roleAs the Payroll Specialist, you will report to the Financial Controller and will be responsible for the preparation and processing of the fortnightly company payroll.
This role forms part of a small, well-oiled, positive, and professional team and could encompass a range of accounting responsibilities depending on the capabilities and capacity of the successful candidate.Duties may include:Prepare and administer the fortnightly payroll:
500+ employees nationallyAct as the main point of contact for senior employee payroll related queriesAdminister on / offboarding and national WorkcoverCalculate and manage statutory duesAssist the finance team with ad hoc finance and administration supportSkills & experienceRecent success in a role with similar responsibilities in hands-on payroll processingSystems savvy, detail oriented and confident with MS ExcelPrevious experience with Pronto (desirable)Positive minded communication expertPositive, dynamic, and progressive national organisationCandidate dependent flexibility in hours and breadth of roleWell-managed business in a solid and growing industryCompany commitment to investing in technology
